Our teachers and staff have been hard at work all summer long to prepare for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year!
You should have already recieved an email from your child’s teacher including the following information:
- Information on how to sign up for your time to meet your teacher
- Supply List
- Link to your classroom Facebook page
- Link to complete an online Pick-Up Authorization Form
HFYH “Meet the Teacher” days are Tuesday, August 8th, or Wednesday, August 9th (the day and time are specific to your scheduled time with your teacher)
What to Expect:
Your child’s teacher will go over important information about the upcoming school year and school arrival/dismissal instructions. You’ll be able to ask questions, drop off school supplies, tour the room, and give your student a gentle introduction to their class.
If you have another individual such as a grandparent or sitter that will regularly drop off or pick your student up from school, it would be a good idea to bring them along to your meeting and introduce them to your teacher.
We recommend that, if possible, please arrange other care for siblings so that you can focus on your HFYH student and meeting.
This is also a great day to get that back-to-school photo of your student and their teacher/classroom. The first day of school can be very busy!
