Fall Family Picnic: Food, Fellowship and Fun!

Join us for our annual Fall Family Picnic on Thursday, September 17th, on the Chapel Campus lawn near the playground!

The Fall Family Picnic is a special HFYH tradition that brings families from both campuses together. Bring a blanket and a picnic lunch to share with your student, visit with other HFYH families, and enjoy time together on the playground.

Main Campus Dismissal

After pick-up, head straight to the picnic. We meet on the lawn adjoining the playground.

Chapel Campus Dismissal

Preschool and Pre-K teachers will begin bringing students outside by classroom around 11:00 a.m. Students will exit through the playground-side door and be dismissed directly to their grown-ups. Please be sure the adult picking up your child is listed on their approved pick-up authorization.

Full-day students may return to class after the picnic, or a parent or guardian may sign them out to enjoy an early afternoon with their family. Please make sure your child’s teacher knows your plan, especially if it changes.

If you are not attending the Fall Family Picnic with your student, please pick them up from the Chapel Campus lobby at Door #2 by 10:30 a.m.

Please note that there will be no half-day car line

What to Bring

  • A blanket to sit on
  • Lunch for your family
  • Money for Kona Ice, if you would like to purchase a sweet treat

Playground Fun

The Chapel Campus playground will be open for families to enjoy. Because children from several different age groups will be playing together, parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children while on the playground.

Silent Auction

We will also hold a silent auction in person and on Facebook to raise money for new Chapel Campus playground equipment. The online auction is open now and will close at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17.

Join the HFYH School Silent Auction Facebook group to view the items and place your bids.

We hope you will join us for an afternoon of food, fellowship and fun with our HFYH community. We can’t wait to spend this special time with families from both campuses!
